Coffy Rating- R18+ Violence, Nudity, Drug use Director- Jack Hill Writer- Jack Hill Genre- Action, Crime Cast- Pam Grier- Coffy Booker Bradshaw- Howard Sid Haig- Omar William Elliot- Carter
Coffy is a 1973 blaxploitation film starring Pam Grier who by day is a nurse and by night a woman on her quest for revenge against the people who harmed her sister with drug abuse. The wonderful Pam Grier does a good job in this film playing Coffy especially in the action scenes where she blows the head off a crooked man is great. Blaxploitation films started in the early 1970's and are fan favourites now all over the world, these particular films inspired some of Quentin Tarantino's character's in his movies one being Uma Thurman's character in the Kill Bill films. Verdict Overall an exciting movie full of action, nudity and brawls what more could you ask for in a movie, I give Coffy 4/5
